Documentary film "Europe in Georgia" directed by Toma Chagelishvili and produced by the support of the Office of the State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The documentary demonstrates that the European Union is the principle donor of Georgia. The director of the film aimed to provide information to the viewers on the EU assistance programmes that create the basis for Georgia's economic development and approximation with the European standards.
Since 1992, only in bilateral format, the EU assistance has reached nearly 1 billion 600 million Euros. Furthermore, significant projects were implemented to support infrastructural development. EU's assistance of 500 million Euros after Russian aggression in 2008 is particularly noteworthy.
